Hermann Krüll began his career as a young bristle merchant in Venice, seizing an opportunity to become a partner in a brush factory on the outskirts of Treviso, then called Premiata Fabbrica Spazzole Trevigiana. By 1899, Hermann had taken over all the shares in the small brush company, bringing with him a breath of fresh air and creative talent; the company published its first catalogue with 25 models.
